Columbiana covers a land area of 6.057 square miles and a water area of 0.128 square miles. Located at 40.88 N. Lat.; 80.68 W. Long. Elevation is 1,118 feet.

HISTORY:
Columbiana was laid out in 1805, when it was called Dixonville for its founder, Joshua Dixon. Harvey S. Firestone (1868-1938), who had the idea of making rubber tires for buggies, was born in Columbiana.
