Residents and visitors alike enjoy the
annual Columbiana Christmas parade held on a Saturday in mid-
November. The town square is lined with children and adults
who come out in the chilly weather to celebrate the holiday
season . Santa comes to town atop a local fire truck, waving
and smiling at the crowds. Many local clubs and organizations
participate in the parade with marching units or floats, along
with numerous old and new fire trucks. In 2007, parade participants
collected canned goods for the local food bank, which enabled
them to feed 414 people who were in need over the holiday
season. Following the parade, Santa is available for pictures
with the children
