The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization whose membership is made up of area business people and community minded individuals.

The primary functions are to promote the Columbiana area, to promote our members and their businesses, to encourage new business, and to work toward the betterment of the community as a whole. Through your tax deductible membership investment, the Chamber is able to provide the following services:

Working for you by:
• Maintaining a permanent Chamber office
• Providing a business resource and visitor information center
• Holding monthly board meetings to discuss area businesses
• Working closely with Columbiana City Council on behalf of local business
• Providing regular Legislative reports upon request

Promoting your business by:
• Printing and distributing a Business Directory
• Printing and distributing a monthly newsletter containing member business spotlight
• Printing and distributing informational brochures highlighting Chamber members
• Promoting your business 24/7 via website listing and link to your business
• Promoting your business 24/7 via the County Chamber of Commerce website
• Providing business referrals
• Offering Ribbon Cuttings and Grand Openings
• Providing networking opportunities

Supporting our community by:
• Coordinating and hosting the 4th of July Community Celebration
• Sponsoring and coordinating the annual Christmas Parade
• Coordinating and hosting the annual Community Awards Banquet
• Providing business relocation information to interested parties

Saving you money by:
• Offering Workers’ Compensation group rating program
• Hosting a Safety Council that offers a discount off workers’ comp premiums
• Offering small business group health insurance
• Providing use of bulk rate stamp
• Providing Certificate of Origin
   
 

COLUMBIANA AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 2012 DUES SCHEDULE

I.

General Membership  
  1 - Sole Proprietor -no full time equivalent $ 75.00 (1)
  2 - 5 full time employees $115.00 (1)
  6 - 10 full time employees $170.00 (3)
  11 -30 full time employees $200.00 (4)
  31 - 50 full time employees $230.00 (5)
  51 or more full time employees $310.00 (6)
     
  Two part-time employees will be counted as one full-time employee. Any employees who are currently laid off, but are expected to be returning to work, should be counted in your total
number of employees.		  
     

II.

 Institutions $ 65.00 (1)
  (Churches, schools, community organizations, service organizations)  
     

III.

 Associate member $ 50.00 (1)
  (All retired, unaffiliated persons and those persons who are not elsewhere classified, but who are interested in the progress of the Columbiana area. This will include (but is not limited to): teachers, ministers, local government officials, and personnel employed by a member firm.
• The figures at the far right of each membership category represent the number of voting members. These individuals will have voting privileges and their names will be added to the Chamber mailing list to receive the monthly newsletter.
• In addition to voting privileges and receiving the monthly newsletter, general, institution and associate members will also be able to run for and hold an elective office.

The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce is an established, progressive, non-profit organization comprised of dedicated business and community leaders. Committed to integrity and fair trade, the Chamber strives to promote business and commerce in the Columbiana area. The Chamber serves its membership by providing member benefits, networking opportunities, and by promoting area business, industry, and the community as a whole. The Chamber serves the Columbiana area as a primary source for business and community information, as a promoter of area business, and as a sponsor of beneficial community events.
