Columbiana Exempted Village Schools is a small district located in the quaint Ohio town of Columbiana. The school system has three buildings: Joshua Dixon Elementary, housing about 315 students in grades K-3; South Side Middle, with approximately 375 students in grades 4-8; and Columbiana High School, with 330 students in grades 9-12.
Columbiana prides itself on a long tradition of excellence in education, with its students performing well on a variety of measures, including both standardized achievement tests and Ohio Proficiency Tests. About 50% of its graduates each year go on to college. |
